Typhoon style copper bond diamond floor grinding and polishing discs offer long life with aggressive grinding and polishing. They are usually used after metal discs to remove scratches and prepare for further finer polish if you desire high gloss finish. As a result they are also called transitional pads/discs. You can also use them directly to grind and polish floors if surface is in a desirable condition.
